§ 90.081  RELEASE AFTER QUARANTINE.
   (A)   After ten days, if the animal is determined to be free of rabies, the owner shall be notified by the Animal Control Officer that, upon payment of fees, he or she can reclaim the animal.
   (B)   However, if the animal does show signs of rabies during the observation period, the animal shall be beheaded and the head of the animal shall be sent to the State Laboratory of Public Health for examination.
