Whenever any of the following names or terms are used in the Los Angeles County Existing Building Code, each such name or term shall be deemed and construed to have the meaning ascribed to it in this section as follows:
(1) "Board of Supervisors" means the City Council of La Mirada.
(2) "County" or "County of Los Angeles" or "unincorporated area" means the City of La Mirada.
(3) "Board of Appeals" or "Board of Examiners of Plumbers" means the Board of Examiners of Plumbers, Gas Fitters, and Sewerage Contractors of the County of Los Angeles established by the Los Angeles County Plumbing Code.
(4) "Building Department" means the "Building and Safety Division" of the Department of the County Engineer.
(5) "Building Code," "uniform building code" or "Los Angeles County Building Code" means the Building Code of the City of La Mirada.
(6) "Building Official" means County Engineer of the County of Los Angeles.
(7) "City" means the City of La Mirada.
(8) "Electrical Code" means the Electrical Code of the City of La Mirada.
(9) "Existing Building Code" means the Existing Building Code of the City of La Mirada.
(10) "Fire Code" or "Los Angeles County Fire Code" means the Fire Code of the City of La Mirada.
(11) "Green Building Standards Code" means the Green Building Standards Code of the City of La Mirada.
(12) "Health Code," or "Los Angeles County Health Code" means the Health Code of the City of La Mirada.
(13) "Mechanical Code" means the Mechanical Code of the City of La Mirada.
(14) "Plumbing Code" means the Plumbing Code of the City of La Mirada.
(15) "Residential Code" means the Residential Code of the City of La Mirada.
