No “safe and sane” fireworks shall be sold, given away, or offered for sale except between 10:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m., from July 1 through July 3, and between 9:00 a.m. and 8:30 p.m. on July 4. Thereafter, selling, giving away, offering for sale, or otherwise providing fireworks of any nature including, but not limited to, “safe and sane” fireworks, within the City of La Mirada, is prohibited unless this prohibition is repealed by ordinance of the City Council.
