10.29.010 Definitions .

"Equestrian" means on horseback, of horses, horsemen, or horseback riding.

10.29.020 Major streets .

"Major streets" as used in this chapter refers to the following streets within the corporate limits of the city:

      Leffingwell Road

      Imperial Highway

      Rosecrans Avenue

      Alondra Boulevard

      Artesia Boulevard

      Valley View Avenue

      Telegraph Road

      La Mirada Boulevard

      Santa Gertrudes Avenue

10.29.030 Equestrian crossing .

The equestrian crossing of major streets within the city shall be restricted to signalized intersections.

10.29.040 Equestrian trails .

It is unlawful for any person to drive or operate, or for any person, firm or corporation to cause or permit to be driven or operated, any motorized vehicle on any trail within the city of La Mirada clearly marked for equestrian use only.
