Subject to the prior approval of the city manager, the collector shall provide one standard residential green waste container to each residential householder and may include the costs thereof in the monthly collection rate. Notwithstanding the foregoing, collector shall provide additional standard residential green waste containers sufficient to accommodate the amount of green waste generated by the residential premises. Except as expressly provided otherwise herein, upon the commencement of automated collection in the city only containers provided by the collector may be used for residential green waste.
