Any officer, full-time employee or member of any board, commission or committee of the city who has not taken and subscribed the oath or affirmation as set forth in Section 2.40.010, shall within thirty days after November 10, 1977, take and subscribe such oath. In the event any officer, employee or member of any board, commission or committee of the city fails or has failed to take and subscribe such oath within thirty days after November 10, 1977, such person shall no longer be eligible to hold such office or position with the city.
