Persons, firms or corporations wishing to operate vehicles exceeding the weight limitations set forth herein shall obtain a permit from the Supervisors of Lamar Township by applying to the office of the Secretary of the Board of Supervisors of Lamar Township by application setting forth the type and weight of load, the route and the estimated number of trips to be taken. Applicants for permits shall post such security as shall be required by the Supervisors of Lamar Township either in cash or by surety bond; said cash deposit or bond to be made in favor of the Township of Lamar to secure the repair of all damages suffered by the roads of the Township as a result of the said hauling.
