The Lake Villa building department, upon request, shall make the necessary inspection. If there are no life safety violations of the building code, a certificate of occupancy shall be issued. If there are life safety violations, a written list of such violations shall be provided to the owner. The owner can then request a reinspection after having such violations corrected. There shall be charged a fee of fifty dollars ($50.00) for each inspection. There shall be no charge for the issuance of the certificate of occupancy. (Ord. 99-7-1, 7-14-1999)
