The following rules and regulations shall be applicable to all buildings and structures and portions thereof used for single- family residences, not over two (2) stories and an attic in height; duplex houses; two (2) units side by side; two-family apartments not over two (2) stories in height; buildings customarily accessory to the foregoing; and residential portions of office, store, and other business buildings, not higher than the second floor, subject to such additional requirements as may apply to such buildings; and the following rules and regulations.
