5-1-5: STREET SIGN OR SIGNAL INTERFERENCE OR REMOVAL:
It shall be unlawful for any person to molest, deface, remove, obliterate, destroy or in any manner interfere with any street or road direction or warning sign or signal within the corporate limits of the village whether such sign or signal is erected and maintained by the village, by the state, or by any other person by permission of the said village or its board of trustees. Whoever shall violate this section shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and shall be fined not less than ten dollars ($10.00) nor more than five hundred dollars ($500.00) for each offense. (Ord. 137, 10-6-1925; amd. 1983 Code)
