The village attorney or village prosecutor may prosecute such cases or assist in the prosecution of such cases as are filed in an applicable tribunal when the remedies sought are within the respective jurisdictions of those adjudicatory bodies.
The village attorney or village prosecutor may commence an action in the Lake County circuit court in order to abate or cause the abatement of any violation(s) of this chapter and may petition the Lake County circuit court for a temporary restraining order and/or preliminary and/or permanent injunction(s) to enjoin any and all responsible parties from maintaining such a chronic nuisance property.
