§ 31.117  REASONABLE INSPECTION.
   (A)   For the purpose of ascertaining whether violations of the codes and regulations of the town exist, the code enforcement officer or his or her assistants and deputies are authorized at all reasonable times to inspect:
      (1)   The exterior of a structure and premises which contain no structure; and
      (2)   The interior of a structure, either with the permission of the owner, occupant or person in control or by use of a search warrant.
   (B)   The code enforcement officer and his or her authorized representatives shall, in accordance with Tex. Code of Criminal Procedure, Article 18.05, as it may be amended from time to time, be authorized to make inspections of all buildings, structures or premises within the town for the purpose of determining compliance with the codes and regulations of the town that fall within the province of the Department and to obtain search warrants as provided in such article.
