§ 31.025  REMOVAL AND VACANCY.
   The Water Commissioner shall be subject to removal from office and may be removed from office by the City Council for any cause deemed sufficient by the City Council.  The Water Commissioner shall receive notice of the placing of the subject matter of his or her removal on the agenda of any regular or special meeting of the City Council at least 20 days prior to the meeting.  The question of the removal of the Water Commissioner shall be considered by the City Council in executive session unless the Water Commissioner demands a full public hearing, in writing, of any charges asserted against him or her at least ten days prior to the meeting.  Any vacancy created in the position of Water Commissioner, whether by death, resignation, or removal, shall be filled by the Mayor with the advice and consent of the City Council.
