§ 16 WATER QUALITY.
   (A)   Every utility furnishing water service for human consumption or for domestic uses shall provide water that meets the State Division of Health and Rehabilitation Services and the State Department of Environmental Regulation rules, and is wholesome, potable, and free from objectionable turbidity, color, odors, and tastes. No water shall be delivered to the public without proper disinfection as prescribed by the State Division of Health and Rehabilitation Services and the State Department of Environmental Regulation. On special request by the city, copies of bacteriological tests made as required by the State Department of Environmental Regulation rules and regulations shall be promptly forwarded to the city by the utility.
   (B)   Any bacteriological tests that are deemed unsatisfactory by the State Division of Health and Rehabilitation Services and the State Department of Environmental Regulation shall be immediately repeated. If the repeat test is not satisfactory, the utility shall immediately inform the city by telephone or in person, and the utility shall take immediate steps to correct these conditions.
   (C)   Copies of the chemical and physical analyses made, as required by the State Division of Health and Rehabilitation Services and the State Department of Environmental Regulation rules and regulations, shall be promptly forwarded to the city by the utility. Complete chemical and physical analyses will be required at least once every year.
