It is unlawful to intentionally drive, chase, run over, or kill any animal with a snowmobile.

ALL-TERRAIN VEHICLES
For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definition shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
ALL-TERRAIN VEHICLE or ATV or UNLICENSED MOTOR VEHICLE or UMV. Any motorized trail bike, mini-bike, 2-, 3-, 4-, or 6-wheel motor vehicle not licensed for travel on any public street or highway pursuant to the provisions of M.S. Chapters 168, 169, and 171, as they may be amended from time to time. Prima facie evidence of the vehicle being unlicensed shall be the absence of any license plate being displayed upon the vehicle as required by law.

No person shall operate an ATV or UMV within the municipal limits of the city except as follows:
(A) On private property of the owner of the ATV or UMV;
(B) Upon private property of another with the specific written permission of the owner or person in control of the property; or
(C) In areas specifically designated by resolution of the City Council of the City of Lakeland from time to time.
