(A) The City Clerk shall receive an annual salary, in such amount as may be provided from time to time by ordinance or approval of the City Council, in lieu of all the fees, costs and other emoluments provided by law to be paid to such City Clerk.
(B) All fees, costs and other emoluments provided to be paid to such City Clerk, by statute, ordinance or regulation, in the performance of his or her duties as City Clerk, and in the performance of the collateral duties of said office, including those as ex officio local Registrar of Vital Statistics, shall be promptly paid over by him or her to the City Treasurer with a statement as to the source thereof.
