§ 93.15 CREATED.
   (A)   (1)   There is hereby created a Cemetery Commission for the city.
      (2)   The Cemetery Commission shall consist of five residents of the city, who shall be appointed by the Mayor with the consent of the City Council for a term of two years.
   (B)   (1)   All members of the committees, boards and commissions of the city shall serve for a term of two years and shall be eligible to be reappointed for two consecutive two-year terms and not eligible to be reappointed to the same position for three years thereafter.
      (2)   The term of the Chairperson of any such committee, board or commission shall be one year and the Chairperson may be reappointed for two consecutive one-year terms; the Chairperson shall not be eligible for reappointment as Chairperson thereafter.
   (C)   (1)   The foregoing shall not apply to committees, boards and commissions of the city where the terms of the members of such are fixed by statute as is the case for members of the Zoning Board of Appeals, the Library Board, the Board of Trustees of the Firefighters Pension Fund and the Board of Trustees of the Police Pension Fund.
      (2)   If any of the foregoing statutes do not establish a term for the Chairperson of any of the foregoing committees, boards and commission, then the provisions of division (A) above with reference to the term of the Chairperson shall apply.
      (3)   It is the sense of the City Council that the members of the committees, board and commissions whose terms are fixed by statute shall serve a maximum of six years and shall not be eligible for reappointment to the same position for three years thereafter.
