§ 118.105 MAXIMUM RATES.
   No person, firm or corporation, owning, operating or controlling any motor vehicle operated as a public passenger vehicle and used upon the streets within the limits of the city shall charge not to exceed the following rates.
   (A)   General. A fee as set out in the fee schedule to get into the vehicle (meter drop), a charge as set out in the fee schedule for the first mile (which includes the meter drop charge) and a fee as set out in the fee schedule for each additional mile thereafter.
   (B)   Waiting time.
      (1)   Waiting time may be computed in one minute segments at the rate per hour as set out in the fee schedule.
      (2)   WAITING TIME shall include the time when a vehicle is not in motion, beginning with the arrival at the place to which it has been directed to, for time consumed while standing at the direction of the passenger.
   (C)   Trips outside the city limits, including trips to Chicago O’Hare International Airport. The operator shall keep on file a list of the current rates with the Police Department of the city and shall notify each passenger of the cost prior to the commencement of any such trip.
