The purpose of the Gorton Community Center Commission is to advise the Mayor and City Council and submit recommendations for the operation, maintenance, coordination and planning for the Property, Community Center, and facilities for charitable, educational and cultural purposes in accordance with the powers and duties of the Commission as set forth in this subchapter and the Community Center’s mission statement.
