§ 34.054 SPECIAL MEETING OF COUNCIL.
   Upon issuing the proclamation herein authorized, the Mayor shall within 24 hours call a special meeting of the City Council to be held within 60 hours of the time of issuance of the proclamation. The state of emergency, declared as provided herein, and the extraordinary power and authority granted to the Mayor shall expire not later than the adjournment of the first regular or special meeting, at which a quorum is present, after the declaration of the state of emergency, unless continued by action of the Council.
