In order to establish rules, regulations, fees and forms pursuant to, and in compliance with, the Illinois Freedom of Information Act, 5 ILCS 140/1 et seq. (the “Act”), as amended, the Mayor and City Council hereby approve and adopt the FOIA Rules and Forms, in substantially the form as attached to this Ord. 2009-36 as Exhibit A and incorporated in this subchapter by reference, but subject to revisions and amendments that the City Manager, in consultation with the City Attorney, from time to time determines are necessary or appropriate to effect compliance with the Act in an administratively efficient manner.
