§ 150.535 CRITERIA FOR DETERMINING FIRE AND EMERGENCY SERVICES IMPACT FEE.
   (A)   The cost per capita methodology shall govern the calculation of fire and emergency services development impact fee. The cost per capita calculation is determined by obtaining the quotient of the following:
      (1)   The approved current fiscal year’s operating costs for the city’s Fire Department:
      (2)   Divided by the current census population of the city, which equals the average cost per resident. This number:
      (3)   Will be multiplied the most current version of the Table of Estimated Ultimate Population Per Dwelling Unit.
   (B)   This derived value will represent an estimate of the impact of the proposed residential development on fire and emergency services and facilities.
 
Formula
Approved fiscal year operating costs = Cost per resident census population
Cost per resident x Table of Estimated Ultimate Population Per Dwelling Unit = Fire and emergency service impact fee
