For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
DRIVE APPROACH. A way or means of vehicular access from that portion of a street or highway used for vehicular travel (roadway) to the adjacent property, including the portion of a sidewalk lying within said way or means of access.
DWELLING UNIT. Consists of one or more rooms which are arranged, designed or used as living quarters for one family only.
PARKWAY. The part of a street or highway, on each side of the pavement or roadway thereof, lying between the outer edge of the pavement or roadway and the property lines bounding the street.
PERSON. Any person, firm, partnership, association, corporation, company or organization of any kind.
ROADWAY. The portion of a street, improved, designed or ordinarily used for vehicular travel.
SIDEWALK. The improved portion of a street between the curb lines, or the lateral lines of a roadway, and the adjacent property lines intended for the use of pedestrians.
STREET or HIGHWAY. Public land improved or unimproved, which affords a primary means of access to abutting property whether designated as a street, avenue, highway, road, boulevard, lane, throughway, right-of-way or otherwise, but does not include private roads and driveways to buildings.
