For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR. Any person, firm or corporation engaged in the business of installing, altering or repairing by contract electrical equipment, as defined herein before; but the term ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR does not include employees employed by such contractor to do or supervise such work.
ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR LIMITED. Any person, firm, or corporation engaged in the business of installing, altering or repairing electric signs or heating and air conditioning units. The scope of work permitted under this category shall be limited to one, line voltage circuit and necessary low voltage wiring required to install, alter or repair signs or heating and air conditioning units.
