There is hereby established an electrical inspection division of the Department of Community Development for the regulation of the installation, alteration and repair of electrical equipment within the city, as herein provided. The electrical inspection division shall function as a branch of the Office of Department of Community Development. It shall consist of the Chief Electrical Inspector of the city and such Deputy Inspectors and other employees as may be provided from time to time by approval of the City Manager within the authority granted by the City Council.
