For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definition shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT. As used in this subchapter means conductors and equipment installed for the utilization of electricity supplied for light, heat or power, but does not include the following:
(1) Radio and television apparatus or equipment for wireless reception of sounds or signals;
(2) Apparatus, conductors and other equipment installed for or by public utilities, including common carriers, which are under the jurisdiction of the Interstate Commerce Commission, for use in their operation as public utilities; or
(3) Minor household appliances or equipment such as bulbs, cords, plugs and the like which may be connected to electrical circuits, but are not part of the building’s concealed electrical system.
