§ 150.197 STRUCTURAL STEEL.
   (A)   Structural steel shall bear on concrete, solid masonry or approved structural members.
   (B)   Beam pockets shall provide a bearing of not less than four inches in depth. Beams shall be grouted into the beam pockets.
   (C)   Wood shims shall not be used to level structural steel columns or beams.
   (D)   Lally columns supporting beams shall be firmly attached to the beam by means of bolts, tightly crimped flanges designed for the purpose or by welding.
