(A) Chimneys or vents for gas-fired appliances may be installed to the minimum regulations set forth in the International Mechanical Code, 2003 Edition, International Code Council, Inc. (see § 150.020).
(B) Prefabricated fireplaces and chimneys may be installed if tested by a nationally recognized testing laboratory and approved by the Construction Codes Commission of the city.
