§ 32.002 APPOINTMENT.
   All officers of the Fire Department who receive regular compensation shall be appointed by the Mayor by and with the approval of the City Council. All members who serve as volunteers receiving no compensation or compensation for only such fires as they may serve shall be appointed by the Fire Chief, subject to the approval of the Mayor and City Council.
