There is hereby established a commission to be called the Construction Codes Commission and herein referred to as the “Commission,” consisting of five members who shall be appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the City Council. Members may serve a maximum of three two-year terms. Vacancies shall be filled for an unexpired term in the manner in which original appointments are made. One of the members of the Commission shall be named Chairperson by the Mayor and confirmed by the City Council. The Mayor and City Council shall have the power to remove any member of the Commission for cause.
