(A) For the purpose of numbering the buildings in the city, the city shall be divided into four divisions by a division line, running east and west along the line between the townships of Deerfield and West Deerfield and township of Shields, and by a division line running north and south along the line between Sections 16 and 17, and 8 and 9, and 4 and 5 in West Deerfield Township, and Sections 32 and 33, and 28 and 29 in Shields Township.
(B) That part of the city lying in Shields and Libertyville Township, being north of the east and west division line, shall be known as north and all buildings located on streets running in a northerly and southerly direction in that division, shall bear the additional appellation of north to denote that section of the city.
(C) That part of the city in Deerfield and Vernon Township and in West Deerfield Township being south of the east and west division line, shall be known as south and all buildings located on the streets running in a northerly and southerly direction in that division, shall bear the additional appellation of south to denote that section of the city.
(D) That part of the city lying east of the north and south division line, shall be known as east and all buildings located on streets running in an easterly and westerly direction in that division shall bear the additional appellation of east to denote that section of the city.
(E) That part of the city lying west of the north and south division line, shall be known as west and all buildings located on streets running in an easterly and westerly direction in that division, shall bear the additional appellation of west to denote that section of the city.
