(A) The City Marshal and Collector, an administrative officer, shall be appointed by the Mayor with the approval of a simple majority of the City Council and shall hold office for such term as provided by § 4 of Article II of the City Charter.
(B) Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in this code, all duties and powers assigned to the City Collector in this code shall be assigned and performed by the City Treasurer.
