(A) Whenever any reference is made to any portion of this subchapter such reference applies to all amendments and additions hereafter made.
(B) The present tense includes the past and the future the present.
(C) Each gender includes both genders.
(D) The singular number includes the plural and the plural the singular.
(E) Whenever a power is granted to, or a due imposed upon the Director, the power may be exercised, or the duty may be performed by an approved contractor, a person or by any employee of the Lake County Data Processing Agency designated by the Director.
(F) The word "may" is permissive and the word "shall" is mandatory.
