For purposes of this chapter, the following are defined as:
AUTHORIZED VENDOR. A vendor who: is an invitee of a lessee or a function, event or activity holder at the Lake County Fairgrounds (hereinafter a “vendor by invite”), or who has executed its own written agreement or lease with the Lake County Fairgrounds (hereinafter a “vendor by agreement”).
ITEM. Any good, ware, merchandise held or service provided by a vendor.
OPERATE. To provide or sell, solicit, exchange or take orders for any item including but not limited to any goods, wares, merchandise or services, with or without any transfer of monetary, bartered or other consideration.
UNAUTHORIZED VENDOR. Any vendor who is not an authorized vendor.
VENDOR. Any person (as defined by § 10.05 of the Lake County Code of Ordinances) who provides or sells, solicits, exchanges or takes orders for any item including but not limited to any goods, wares, merchandise or services, with or without any transfer of monetary, bartered or other consideration.
