Any person who violates any section or provision of §§ 170.01 through 170.17, or any rule or regulation adopted by the Lake County Health Department, or who violates any determination or order of the Lake County Health Department under §§ 170.01 through 170.17, shall be fined not more than $1,000. Each day that a violation exists shall constitute a separate offense. The Lake County State’s Attorney or the Attorney General shall bring this action in the name of the county or the people of Illinois, or may, in addition to other remedies provided in §§ 170.01 through 170.07, bring action for an injunction to restrain the violation.
