A. Drains: It shall be unlawful to obstruct any drain in any public street or alley. (1988 Code § 5-3A-11)
B. Public Ways; Bond: Except as provided in section 7-1-16 of this chapter, it shall be unlawful for any person to cause, create or maintain any obstruction of any street, alley, sidewalk or other public way except by authority of this chapter after application therefor made to the village administrator and upon the filing of a street obstruction bond in the penal sum of five thousand dollars ($5,000.00) in a form prescribed by the village, which form shall be available at the village hall, and which the applicant shall execute as principal and upon which there shall be a corporate surety authorized by law to execute and become liable upon such bond.
