A. Generally. It shall be unlawful for any person to park any motor vehicle within the Train Station Parking Lot, being the public parking lot adjacent to the Lake Bluff Train Station located at 600 Sheridan Road, except as provided herein.
B. Classes of Permits Established. The following classifications of parking permits for the Train Station parking lot are hereby established. The fee payable to obtain each permit shall be as set out in Section 1-12-3, under the category "Permit Fees," and shall be paid in advance of parking.
1. Daytime Parking Permit. A daytime parking permit may be issued on an annual or daily basis.
2. Overnight Parking Permit. An overnight parking permit may be issued on an annual or daily basis.
3. Central Business District (CBD) Merchant Parking Permit. A CBD merchant parking permit may be issued on an annual basis to the owner, operator, or employee of any business with physical offices or operations within the Village's Central Business District as defined by the Village's Zoning Map. A CBD merchant parking permit may be lawfully displayed and used by any owner, operator, or employee of the same business, provided that the Village Administrator or their designee has first been given and accepted notice of each person and vehicle utilizing the permit in a form determined by the Village Administrator.
C. Central Business District (CBD) Merchant Parking Spaces. All spaces designated for "Central Business District merchant parking only" within the Train Station parking lot may be used for the parking of vehicles as follows:
1. Except between the hours of three o'clock (3:00) a.m. and six o'clock (6:00) a.m. daily, only by the holders of CBD merchant parking permits.
2. Between the hours of three o'clock (3:00) a.m. and six o'clock (6:00) a.m. daily, no parking of any vehicles is permitted.
D. Overnight Parking Spaces. All spaces designated for "overnight parking only" within the Train Station parking lot may be used for the parking of vehicles as follows:
1. Between the hours of six o'clock (6:00) a.m. and ten o'clock (10:00) a.m., Monday through Friday, only by the holders of:
a. Daytime parking permits; and
b. CBD merchant parking permits.
2. Between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and three o'clock (3:00) a.m., Monday through Friday, by any vehicle.
3. Between the hours of six o’clock (6:00) a.m. and three o’clock (3:00) a.m., Saturday and Sunday, by any vehicle.
4. Between the hours of three o’clock (3:00) a.m. and six o’clock (6:00) a.m. every day, only by the holders of overnight parking permits.
E. All Other Spaces (Daytime Spaces). All parking spaces not otherwise marked or restricted for specific purposes within the Train Station parking lot may be used for the parking of vehicles as follows:
1. Between the hours of six o’clock (6:00) a.m. and ten o’clock (10:00) a.m., Monday through Friday, only by the holders of:
a. Daytime parking permits; and
b. CBD merchant parking permits.
2. Between the hours of ten o’clock (10:00) a.m. and three o’clock (3:00) a.m., Monday through Friday, by any vehicle.
3. Between the hours of six o’clock (6:00) a.m. and three o’clock (3:00) a.m., Saturday and Sunday, by any vehicle.
4. Between the hours of three o’clock (3:00) a.m. and six o’clock (6:00) a.m. every day, no parking of any vehicles is permitted. (amd. 2009 Code) (Ord. 86-2, 2-24-1986, eff. 4-1-1986; amd.
