The following permit fees are hereby established for the issuance and renewal of alarm system permits:
A. Within Village: An annual registration fee in the amount as set out in section 1-12-3 of this code, under the category "alarm fees", shall be paid for the issuance and renewal of each permit for an alarm system located in the village.
B. Outside Village: An annual registration fee in the amount as set out in section 1-12-3 of this code, under the category "alarm fees", shall be paid for the issuance and renewal of each permit for an alarm system located outside of the village. No such permits shall be issued without the approval of the village administrator.
C. Initial Connection Fee: In addition to the fees provided in subsections A and B of this section, the fees in the amounts as set out in section 1-12-3 of this code, under the category "alarm fees", shall be paid for the issuance and renewal of each permit for a directly connected alarm system. D. Exceptions To Connection Fees And Maintenance Charges:
1. When any alarm system for which a connection fee, relay deposit fee or maintenance charge is imposed, is connected directly into the system of another municipality, or agency, the connection fee, relay deposit fee, and maintenance charge of such other municipality shall be paid to that municipality, and shall not be due to the village; provided further, that such alarm shall also be registered annually with the village, and the fee paid therefor.
2. No fee shall be due for registration of an alarm system for individual medical emergency purposes only.
E. Proration Of Fees: No proration of fees for any permit shall be made except as specifically provided for herein. (1988 Code § 7-5-8)
