A. The police department serving the village shall issue a citation or arrest ticket or administrative notice of violation in the case of each motor vehicle parked in violation of the provisions of this chapter. Such citation or arrest ticket or administrative notice of violation shall be placed upon the motor vehicle and shall constitute service of a notice to appear in court or before the village's administrative hearing officer, as the case may be, on the owners and operator thereof. The penalty for any violation of the provisions of this chapter unless otherwise specified shall be as specified from time to time in section 1-10-7 of this code, provided, however, that penalties for particular violations shall be assessed and may be settled, compromised and paid as set forth in section 1-10-7 of this code.
B. Any person violating any provision of this chapter shall be guilty of a violation of this code, provided that the fine for such violation may be settled by prepayment as provided in section 1-10-7 of this code. (Ord. 2013-O-03, 2-5-2013)
