13-5-11: DISCONNECTION OF SERVICE FOR NONPAYMENT:
The water supply or sewer service may be shut off from any premises for which the water or sewer bill remains unpaid forty (40) days after the rendition of the bill for such service. Such service shall be discontinued after notice to the customer of a hearing on the proposed shutoff before the president and board of trustees, or such person or persons designated by them to hold such hearings. If water service is discontinued after the hearing, or after the customer has failed to appear at the hearing, water service shall not be reinstated until all past due bills and penalties due thereon are paid in full, together with the payment of a fee as specified from time to time in section 1-10-7 of this code to cover the cost of reinstating service.
