(A) Every person using or letting any billiard or pool table, pool room, ball or ten-pin alley or shooting gallery or any one them for hire or gain shall pay a license for the privilege of running any such billiard or pool table in the sum of $15 for the first table; $10 for the second table; and $5 for each additional table so used; and the sum of $15 for each ball and ten-pin alley; and the sum of $25 for each shooting gallery used for the purpose aforesaid, per year or ratable proportion for any part thereof; provided that no license shall be issued for less than the sum of $10.
(B) (1) Licenses for any of the aforesaid purposes may be granted only to a person of good, moral character and the applicant shall present his or her application for such a license to the Board of Trustees in writing accompanied by the license fee for the time applied for asking the Board of Trustees to grant him or her a license for the business named therein, and by bond of $500 conditioned that he or she will not sell or give away any spirituous, vinous, malt or mixed liquors upon the premises so occupied by him or her or permit the same to be drunk by others thereon.
(2) No minors under the age of 21 years shall be permitted to enter such place or places of business, unless accompanied by a parent or guardian.
(3) He or she will keep an orderly and well conducted place, observe the time or times for daily and Sunday closing such business fixed by ordinance, pay all fines, penalties and the like that may be adjudged against him or her; said bond to be subject to the approval of the Board of Trustees; provided that the Board of Trustees may refuse to grant a license for shooting galleries and billiards or ten-pin alleys if it deems it to be nuisance.
