§ 34.07 GENERAL DUTIES OF DEPARTMENT.
   It shall be the function and the duty of the Fire Department and every member thereof to extinguish accidental or destructive fires or applicable emergencies; to prevent the occurrence or spread of the fires; and to provide paramedic and emergency medical technician response to persons in need in accordance with license and training standards.
