§ 33.14 APPOINTMENT, TERM, QUALIFICATION, DUTIES OF DEPUTY CHIEF.
   The Deputy Chief shall be appointed by the Chief of Police and shall serve at the discretion of the Chief of Police. The Deputy Chief must be a full-time sworn member of the La Grange Park Police Department having at least five years of full-time service as a police officer with the village. The Deputy Chief shall be an exempt rank immediately below that of Police Chief and his or her duties prescribed by the Police Chief.
