§ 33.02 GENERAL DUTIES OF POLICE OFFICERS; DECLARED CONSERVATORS OF THE PEACE.
   It shall be the duty of the members of the Police Department to see to the enforcement of all ordinances of the village, of all statutes effective in the village and to preserve order and prevent infractions of the law and to arrest violators thereof. Every sworn member of the Police Department is declared to be a conservator of the peace.
