§ 33.01 DEPARTMENT CREATED; COMPOSITION.
   There is created a Police Department, an Executive Department of the village. The Police Department shall consist of the Chief of Police, Deputy Chief of Police and such number of other full- time and part-time police officers as may be provided from time to time by the President and Board of Trustees.
