§ 31.070 EMPLOYMENT, COMPENSATION.
   The President, with the advice and consent of the Board of Trustees, may from time to time retain an attorney to represent or advise the village on legal matters. The President may likewise retain special counsel to advise or represent the village on special matters or to assist the attorney for the village, with the advice and consent of the Board of Trustees. Payment of compensation to the attorney or attorneys shall be in such amounts as the Board of Trustees may determine from time to time.
