(A) During the absence or disability for any reason of the Manager in excess of 14 days, the President, with the approval of the Board of Trustees, may designate some properly qualified person to perform the duties of the position of the Village Manager.
(B) During the absence or disability, for any reason, of the Village Manager for a period of 14 days or less, the Assistant Village Manager or a Department Head shall be designated by the Village Manager to perform the role of Acting Village Manager.
