Appointed officers of the village shall be deemed to include: Village Treasurer, Village Attorney, Village Prosecutor, Village Engineer, Village Budget Officer, Emergency Management Coordinator and such other persons whose positions may hereafter be created by ordinance duly passed by the Board of Trustees to carry into effect the powers conferred upon the village. Village officers shall be appointed by the Village President, with the advice and consent of the Board of Trustees. Appointed village officers shall not include the Village Manager, or elected officers (such as the Village Clerk).
