(A) The penalty for violation of any of the provisions of this chapter shall be:
(1) First offense. Warning in writing. (If a juvenile is involved the warning shall be to the parents.)
(2) Second and subsequent offense. The police shall issue a “P” ticket bearing a fine of $5 for nonmoving violations and a fine of $10 for moving violations. Serious or repeated offenders can be issued a regular police citation for appearance and hearing at the Circuit Court of Cook County.
(B) The police shall keep a record of violations of this chapter.
