§ 74.16 LAMPS AND REFLECTORS.
   Every bicycle when upon a street during the period from sunset to sunrise shall be equipped with the following:
   (A)   Front. At least one lighted lamp emitting a white light visible from a distance of 500 feet to the front of the bicycle and with a clear reflex reflector as approved by the state.
   (B)   Side. At least two state-approved reflectors, visible from a distance of 500 feet to the side of the bicycle; one to the front center of the bicycle which shall be amber; one to the rear of the center of the bicycle which shall be red. Reflective material on each side of the tires or rims may be used in lieu of reflectors. The reflective material must be at least 3/16-inch wide and shall conform to specifications prescribed by the state.
   (C)   Rear. A state-approved red reflector visible from a distance of 500 feet to the rear of the bicycle. A lamp emitting a red light visible from a distance of 500 feet may be used in lieu of reflector.
